When was the last time you experimented with your content?

Too many people write something once and leave it at that.

If you’d like to take a more data-driven approach to your content, here are three quick ideas:

  • Write a LinkedIn post with two different hooks and share them two weeks apart at the same time of day

  • Segment your newsletter subscribers and send them the same message with a different subject line to see which gets the best open rate

  • Change your social media commenting strategy, e.g. from short replies to more in-depth comments over the space of a week

This will take slightly more time, but it’s not a good idea to rely purely on guesswork or gut instinct.

The results may surprise you, and you’ll be one step ahead of most of your competitors because so few people experiment.
