Lots of digital agencies in the UK have a variation of the copy above on their home page. I know in many cases, it's been written for SEO purposes.

Let's break this message down from a potential customer's perspective.

  • We are - why is the emphasis on the agency, not the client and their pain points?

  • A full-service digital agency - chances are people are visiting your site because they know what they're looking for. How do your services help them?

  • Based in a big city - if people have sought you out online, they probably know this information already. It doesn't differentiate you from all the other agencies in your city.

I want to make it clear that I'm not criticising. I've worked in several agencies and have seen how difficult it is to stand out in a 'sea of sameness'.

What's the solution?

Flipping your perspective.

For example, "Been let down by your digital agency? Explore our 126 five-star reviews and imagine a better way to make your business thrive."
