  • Selling your stocks and shares when everyone else is panicking

  • Pitching yourself as a full-service agency serving all sectors

  • Using ChatGPT to write your LinkedIn comments

This isn’t meant to be judgemental. We’re all guilty of trying to fit in.

But, in times when the majority’s shifting in one direction, there’s a huge opportunity to do something different to stand out.

I’m already seeing signs people are growing tired of the following:

  • An abundance of copywriters on LinkedIn saying nothing new

  • DM pitches for digital services

  • Cold emails

I appreciate you might not use any of the things above to grow your agency, but the same principle applies to any business.

It’s time for me to be Jamie, Jamie, quite contrary. Here are a few things I’ll be doing over the coming weeks:

  • Sending handwritten letters on high-quality paper

  • Using my creativity to pen a copywriting rap

  • Posting out orange sunglasses with a note
