Can I have your attention please?
1 quick tip
Imagine the scene.
One of your ideal clients is on the train to work, scrolling through their LinkedIn feed. Let’s say it’s the guy with pointy elbows whose music always spills out of his headphones. His work ID badge hangs proudly around his neck. “Roger Rummage”.
He’s looking for something interesting to read among the “3 things my sandy feet taught me about B2B sales” posts.
Then, something intriguing catches his eye. He lowers his music to focus on reading it, but he’s not even sure why.
It turns out the post was based on a conversation your competitor had with one of their clients.
Because it used the type of language Roger does, it made him take notice
It didn’t sound like it was trying to sell him anything
It was short, simple and focused on him
Using snippets from client conversations in your LinkedIn hooks, case studies and article headings can work like a charm.
When did you last do it?
